Convert Voltage

Volt is a unit for the potential of electrical voltage and a derived SI unit. Voltage is the pressure from an electrical circuit's power source. When we say that an electrical outlet has a voltage of 110V or 230V, we are talking about how much voltage the electrical equipment has the opportunity to use when it is connected to the plug. In comparison, a battery for the smoke alarm has a voltage of 9 volts.

On this page you will find converters for various volt units such as volts, millivolts and kilovolts.
